Road to 2010 football world cup

Street soccer is popular in Accra due to lack of football pitches or parks in Accra, Ghana. In the words of the children “we enjoy football. But we don’t have football field but we have to play o the street even though it is not safe”. Ghana has become one of the first African countries to qualify for the 2010 world cup in South Africa after beating Sunday 2-0.
